About this site
tl;dr This blog collects my attempts to make sense of on‑chain privacy: what we’ve tried so far, what hasn’t worked, and where the next layer of tooling might come from.
Hi, I'm Belma. I've been following the Ethereum/crypto/blockchain privacy landscape for years. While the ecosystem has been growing and (new) privacy protocols evolved, we are still far from practical everyday usage. I’m interested in everything that happens between “we have the math” and “someone actually uses this safely”. That's why I started this blog.
My goal is to dig under the hood of Ethereum’s privacy stack, share my personal findings, and offer honest opinions on what tools are actually ready to use, along with a few factors like:
- how effective are those apps in keeping privacy (proof of privacy?!),
- user experience (UX),
- decentralization (infrastructure and platform risk),
- developer tooling and developer experience (DevEx),
- security and technical dependencies,
- product potential,
- etc.
Testing Ethereum’s privacy apps so you don’t have to. One app at a time, until we reclaim our freedom in a digital world.
